Serving the Cultural needs of the community since 1921

Welcome to "OPAL"...

 Mission Statement
At OPAL we believe in the freedom of expression and the importance of the creative voice. Since 1921 we have sustained an environment to develop, nurture and exhibit the work of  local artists, past and present. Our mission is to provide access to the disciplines and development processes so that artists of all ages, from amateur to hobbyist, enthusiast to professional may refine their unique creative voice in our studios and galleries.

The Oak Park Art League provides a well-rounded program of classes in the traditional arts for adults and children. Beginners are encouraged to explore their interest in art in a supportive, nurturing environment.  Experienced artists are encouraged to enhance their skills and share their ideas with fellow artists in a structured, weekly format.  Our classes are taught by professional, working artists, many of whom have won awards and national recognition for their work.
