New at OPAL
Peace Tower
The Oak Park Art League (720 Chicago Ave.) and
the Oak Park Friends (Quakers) are collaborating to create a “Peace Tower” to be
on display at the Day in Our Village on June 1st. The “Peace Tower” is a wooden
structure on which pieces of artwork on the theme of peace will be displayed. On
Sunday, April 20th from 2:00-4:00 the Oak Park Art League will be conducting an
open house workshop to prepare artwork for the tower. This event is free and
open to the public. Please come out and share your vision of peace with us.
